When you call, let us know if you need the gear picked up, if you need a loaner, or if you’re on a super short time frame. We’re here to help.

Why let us do it?

#1 We do it right.

  • Not every car seat cover is machine washable.

  • NO car seat should be “hosed down.”

  • Baby gear is safest when it’s put back together properly.

  • We’ve consulted manufacturers directly on keeping your car seat’s integrity while cleaning it.

#2 We do it fast.

  • Our shop is set up with the best equipment.

  • Our staff does this all the time.

#3 We do it for you… or someone else!

  • Let’s face it, it isn’t fun, and it isn’t easy.

  • Expecting moms, new moms, parents with multiple littles in car seats, and grandparents love our services.

FAQs

What soaps/detergents are used on the fabrics?

Soap or detergent is only used when the manufacturer allows and only when needed. Most manufacturers only allow for mild soaps or detergents so we stick to the following.

  • Dawn’s Original blue dish soap

  • Seventh Generation Free and Clear detergent

  • Dreft laundry products

If there is a product on the list that you prefer we don’t use, just let us know before or at the time of intake and we’re happy to accommodate.

What if you can’t get all the stains out?

We’ll call you. There are some stains and odors that are stubborn or just too set in to get out with one deep clean using mild cleaning products. If we feel like we could get it out with additional time or a different technique, we’ll discuss it with you when we call.

Is there anything you won’t clean?

We’re pretty brave when it comes to cleaning baby gear but there are a few things we won’t clean, mostly for safety reasons.

  • We won’t clean baby gear that isn’t safe for use. Examples:

    • Expired car seats

    • Car seats with broken or detached styrofoam

    • Gear with missing or broken pieces required for structural integrity or safe use (straps, chest clips, padding, cup holders on certain car seats, wheels)

    • Strollers or wagons with major frame damage

  • We don’t clean baby gear with pet/animal bodily fluids.

  • We don’t clean baby gear that smells heavily of smoke.

What loaners do you offer?

We know first hand how difficult it can be to go without baby gear, especially car seats. We currently have the following baby gear to loan during a service and hope to add more soon.

  • Infant carrier/car seats with bases

  • Toddler/Convertible style car seats

  • Umbrella strollers

Loaners are reserved on a first come first served basis. If you need a loaner please check that box during booking and we’ll make sure we have what you need before accepting your reservation.

Do you install car seats?

Once we complete the requirements to become nationally certified Child Passenger Safety technicians, we’ll begin offering installation. Until then, we can help get the seat out of your car prior to cleaning and bring it to your car after cleaning, but the actual buckling/tethering installation piece must be completed by the person picking up the car seat. We hope you understand our plan for certification prior to offering installation.

Do you buy or sell baby gear?

Although we may in the future, at this time we aren’t currently buying or selling baby gear. There are quite a few resellers in our area. Let us know if you’d like more info.

Do you dispose of baby gear?

Yes - but DO NOT leave it outside the shop. It goes against our agreement with property management and isn’t neighborly of us as tenants of a shared plaza.

That being said, we happily accept baby gear for disposal as we use it to train new employees or to try out new cleaning techniques on different fabrics and brands.

Drop baby gear off during business hours or give us a call to meet you outside of business hours.
